I believe this was attempted with 9/11. Folks suing the tv stations for showing the airplane constantly hit the building. Others suing because they had nightmares from what they'd seen.

Last I heard none of those won. Something to do with heresay or second hand knowledge. The act of knowingly watching something that a prudent person would realize had the potential of upsetting them.

I would think with the invention of the remote control, these lawsuits wouldn't exists. What ever happened to changing the channel if you don't like what you're watching

I really dont understand!!!! People are so sue Crazy its annoying! They hear something on the radio lets sue they hear/see something on TV lets sue!!! REALLY I hope the people that sue over the curse word I hope they don't have cable TV and Im sure they have never said that word before!!!!

Duh! He didn't know that they have that sort of stuff on Fear Factor? If you dont' like it shut if off. You have a choice!
