people with 2 or more dogs
I have a bichon frise- she is my baby, i treat her like she is my daughter. she is vety spoiled and is the queen of our house! yesterday my husband and i rescued an english bulldog from a shelter. she grew up with 2 larger dogs around and they have since passed away, and she usually loves other dogs. but she doesnt seem to like our new bulldog and i am racked with guilt that i did something bad to her. does anyone think that she just needs time to get used to him, or am i a bad mommy?? please share your opinions.

give her time. she'll eventually come around.i got Dharma alittle over 2 weeks ago and shes still freaked out by the other dogs....
BUT shes come a long way.
She really just needs alot of attention right now and extra love and time to get used to the new dog.
did you have them meet on nuetral territory?
good luck

Ditto.....it will be an adjustment, but definately make sure the attention is not drawn to far from what you would normally give her.
I think it is great that you rescued a dog...rescue dogs are the best!
