one of the knicks trainers is from England... and hes got a sick accent... im talking to him and im not responding right away because im just listening to his voice rather than the words hes saying..

Both.

Seriously, I love love LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVE Canadian accents. DH's former boss was Canadian and we'd sometimes go to dinner with him and I'd hang onto his every word.

And I am also obsessed with Degrassi...old and new. Mostly for the accent.

::Sigh:: Love me some Irish accents. When DH works with the off the boat guys he comes home with a little accent. Or certain things he says he has an accent. Love it.

And FIL's accent, . I always tell DH I'm gonna run away with his father.

Other than that- British or Australian. YUM.

ETA: She has a HEAVY Irish accent. I mean it took a year for me to be able to understand her and sometimes I still need her to repeat herself!

I DROOL over Irish accents. I was like a pig in sh!t when I was in Dublin a couple years ago.

seriously... that and the line from Caddyshack 'tanks for nuttin' are the only time Shaun can speak with a brogue without sounding like an idiot lmao

gaelic... always had a thing for gaelic. (I guess cause I was always around people with it)

um.. english-we have a student at my studio who's from england and I had to help her with her quick changes at recital, now she and i rarely see each other through the year. so she's talking and i'm like 'bri, blah blah blah' she looks at me and is like 'your english?'
ends up i freaking picked up her accent and didn't realize it. i do that a lot

but australian... FH has cousins from australia that came here earlier this year... FSIL asked them to say 'down under' and 'crickey' and pretty every other 'australian saying'

it was kinda awesome

he does do a really good Chewbacca though
