why when someone gets your cell number do they insist always on trying the cell first??

i am @ my desk 90% of the time - dude - call my desk! my cell is for emergencies only - as stated when i gave it to you - and to 'follow up' with me about a project is hardly emergency.

BACK UP OFF MY CELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friends are the ones who insist on trying my cell first. I do not get good cell phone reception if I am at home, so sometimes I don't even know that they tried to call.
