percentage of NO responses

percentage of NO responses

does anyone know what this generally is...we cut down our list alot and are only inviting immediate and close family members and friends. Our list is now at 205 and our minimum is 150 so Im nervous we wont make it/??

i always thought it was a 10% no show.

If I remember correctly from the '07 boards it's 30%.

I've heard anywhere from 10 - 20%.

I just searched the topic for you and there were a lot of different things.

Do you have alot of OOT guests? Did you send out STD's?

I would also consider if you have a lot of OOT guests... Right now i'm about a 45% no rate... of course I don't have all my RSVP's back, but it might stay close to that since so many are OOT, so I could be about 30-40% by the end! I'm definately not expecting to be in the 10-20% range at all...

I think 20%-30% is a safe bet.

they say it's good to expect 20% will not come....in our case - we had 30% - but were in January...so kinda expected it.

i have always heard 20% but i dont even think we will get that many no's since not many are out of town and the few that are have already booked plane tickets here! I hope we get some no's bc we have more people invited than we wanted!!!!

I thought the average was 30% but I could be wrong. I guess it depends on how mny OOT guests you have.

I heard 20% but it really can vary...We invited 285 and we have 251 coming...SO 34 people didn't come...Which we thought would be less...We were very happy over this!
