i am adding it on also..i think it would add a little extra to the dj to have live music .. but i would like to hear what past brides have to say about it

I would loooove this...it's just not in my budget though. I think it is so worth it, especially if you had someone like Howie Bongo!

for my dj (FM entertainment) its an extra $400..but i got $100 off coupon when i went to their showcase

if we didnt get a band we were going to do this.
i think a percussionist adds an amazing feel, especially if you have one who lets the guests get in on the fun.

i looked at several dj's and got quotes from $400-$750 to add on a percussionist.

i've been to weddings where they had it, and it was awsome.
i don't think you NEED it. but if you can fit it into your budget it's a cool extra.

we've been debating that too! it seems like a sort of unique thing to do. not everyone has that at every wedding.

We didn't have one in our contract to start, but added it a month before the wedding. We were so happy we did. He really made our party!
We used DDE.
They charged us 500 because we booked him so late.

We added a percussionist - we wanted to add a little somethinge extra for the DJ. It cost is $750, but we also had a $300 off coupon.

We got that and a sax player. That was our compromise b/c I wanted a band and he wanted a DJ. At least with those two, we will still have that live element.
