Hey girls, I am considering a percussionist as an addition to my dj at this time. I'm leaning to FM entertainment. What do you girls think? Has anyone used their precussionist along with the dj, or one at all. I'm afraid it might be to intrusive or on the other hand really amazing. Please tell your stories.. the good and the bad. Thanks for your help!!

Re: Percussionist, yes or no?
percussionist!!! it really adds a rich sound to the music. some guests said when they were coming in, they almost thought we had a band when they heard the percussionist playing!

Re: Percussionist, yes or no?
I was at a wedding with it... and the percussionist was very talented and played very well.. but FH and I felt that it was toooo much...... at times we heard the drums more than the songs..... but it also may have been the acoustics in the room.. but i have to say the percussionist was EXTREMELY TALENTED

Re: Percussionist, yes or no?
We had one and it MADE the night. Our guests hadnt seen anything like that before so they thought it was such a cool idea. He played along with the dj for anything that was appropriate and it just added such an awesome sound to everything. If it doesnt cost too much, I would definatly say do it!
