Peri-natologist?

Am I spelling this right? My GI doctor told me I should go see one since I'm 'high risk' for pregnancy.

What should I expect when I see one and do I see one instead of an ob/gyn or over and above an ob/gyn?

I haven't talked to my ob/gyn - I actually am looking for a new one - but because of my age (35) and physical condition (crohn's disease) my GI doctor thinks it's wise to consult with one.

Any thoughts?
