Weird question but what is everyone doing if they get their period on their wedding day? My wedding is in June the 21st and last month my period was the 23rd. I think maybe if I go to the gyno she can give me the pill and that will skip my period. I don't know, I need help because I don't want to go on my honeymoon with my period. Can anyone give me advise? Thanks sorry for telling my business like that but we are all girls here and I really need help.

You should call your doctor ASAP. I've heard they can give you something to stop your period, but I'm not sure how long it takes to work.

I would take my BCP according to the wedding so that I would not have it then.

I have the same dilemma but my GYN gave me the pill and told me to skip the suger pills and start with the actual doses on the first day of my period. This pushed things back by 1 week. It actually is working and I suggest starting asap so your body can adjust.

YES!! I have done this too . . . my only problem was when I did finally get my period, I had a huge headache. But you can just start a new pack to skip your period - it is perfectly safe. I have asked the obgyn.

I was thinking the same thing about my Honeymoon. I know I'll have it for at least 3 or 4 days of our trip. Do you need to skip the pills for the months leading up to the wedding or can you just skip it the week you want to miss your period? I guess I should ask my dr

you can have breakthrough bleeding if you never took it.. my doc said no with two months to go.. but i did hear a lot of parsely.. after you ovulate, drink tea w/ lots of parsely and it should help your buddy come early.. not sure how true it is.. but i will be trying it out!!!

call your dr. asap and go on the pill and take active pills through your honeymoon so your period will come after that, i go 10 weeks in between period, almost like seasonale

my gyn helped me plan so by taking the pill i wouldnt have my period around my wedding/hm.
Call your dr. asap though, because she made me wait a month after i saw her so that i could start the pill the friday after i started my period....plus it might take some time for your body to adjust to it. i've been on it since march and my seems to be adjusting well....i haven't had any spotting and i should be done with my period tomorrow (it only lasts 3 days now...as opposed to 6 before)...so no period during my wedding
