unfortunately am very regular and according to the dates i will be on the second day of my period the DAY of my wedding and some woman know that is the worst and heaviest of all days!! is there any way of avoiding this w/out my having to get back on birth control pills?

the only solution that i can recommend is going on birth control for a few months..i already spoke to my gyno and she has a plan for me ...im not sure what exactly it is but i will find out in july....ask your dr

hmm i am wondering about this too. I am already on the pill but it is lo dosage so even skipping the placebo week I still spotted.
How soon should I see my Dr. before the wedding to discuss possibly switching or start 'skipping' you think?

if i do it calendar wise , it says the same thing, but things always change and i get in a few days early here, few days late there, im not gonna worry till like the month b4

I know my friend worked it out with her doctor and took 2 pacs of birth control back to back so she wouldn't have it for her wedding or honeymoon. Her doctor was with her every step of the way and it all worked out fine AND she was period free for the big day and the big trip! So definitely consult your ob-gyn.
