Period on wedding day?

Im planning our wedding for 10-2-2010. Im worried im going to have m period then because I just got it this morning and it's the first of January. What are the chances I'll have it around the same time then? I don't want to have to change our date and Im not on the pill either. What should I do or can do?

You can start the pill a few months before the wedding and just take it straight through (skip the placebo pills). I beleive there is also a medicine that can bring on your period earlier, but I wouldn't go that route. My friend had to take that and her period came with a vengence...
Also, I wouldn't worry about it right now, there's alot of stress as it gets closer and your cycle can change between now and then. If I were you, I'd make an appointment for a about 3 months prior to the wedding with your GYN and if your cycle hasn't changed much by then and there's a chance you'll get it, the start the pill.

I'm worried about this too... a few months or so before I'm going to start taking the pill, so that it can be regulated.

I wouldn't worry about it right now... your cycle can change from month to month depending on stress levels, diet and exercise...

I would go on the pill or some method of BC this way you can regulate it for your wedding. I use Nuvaring and manipulate my period almost every month depending on what we have going on... I change it for vacations, weddings, holidays or even if I know we are going to be going into the city for something...

The pill makes me really sick too... my OBGYN put me on Nuvaring and it is AMAZING. I have ZERO issues with it!!!

personally this is like worrying about the weather.
Dont bother... it's not worth it. It happens it happens.

I was at the tail end of mine on my wedding night. it really wasn't a big deal at all. I promise.

There will be so much going on and so many good emotions that will out weigh your period.

also unless your period comes on the lets say 23rd of every single month.... in all likeliness you wont' have it on the exact day come 10 months or so from now. periods come in cycles of 28 to 36 or so (roughly) days.

Just go on the pill and instead of taking the placebos, take the active ones!
