Did anyone receive any perks from using a travel agent? Any free upgrades or other things thrown in from the hotel maybe?

as of now, no. but i was advsied to bring my marriage license (i'm not going out of the country) because most places will upgrade us...sounded like a good perk to me!

when we use the travel agent for our trips she usually sends a bottle of red & white wine to our room

Money Off I always booked my own trips but GOD FOR BID something goes wrong I want to have someone to call and help me.. This is our honeymoon and - my FH and I want no worries...

We got a room upgrade (like 4 classes) and a bottle of champagne in our room.
I don't think you can bring your marriage license with you, unless you go on your honeymoon more than 3-4 weeks after your wedding.

yeah thats right they have more access to free upgrades.
