Perks of Registering at Fortunoff

Hey everyone....

I registered tonight at Fortunoff! There are some interesting perks/contests that come along with registering that I thought I'd share...

1. After the wedding, you'll get a gift card for 5% of the total value purchased from your registry (e.g., $200 gift card if $4,000 worth of stuff was bought).
2. After the wedding, you can buy anything left on the registry yourself at 10% off.
3. You get vendor discounts, including 10% off if you use Pedestals florist, (I thought that was an extra nice one!!) and free cocktail hour musicians for some of the bands.
4. Free makeup trial at some salon
5. You get entered to win a free night at the Garden City Hotel, and to win $750 towards your dream wedding bands.
6. Pretty photo album.
7. A bunch of bridal magazines.
8. 10% off favors, bridal party gifts and wedding bands.

The staff there was very nice and I had a great time running around and playing with the scanner!!

if you've registered for your fine china there, there's definite perks. if you notice, sometimes when you go to buy a place setting, they'll have a 'bonus' special like buy a place setting and get a free bowl. if a special like that runs at anytime during your registry period, you're entitiled to the free bowls.

for example, i registered for 12 place settings. i believe i got 9 place settings...but only 2 people bought during the bonus time giving me only 2 bowls......(I also had registered for the bowls too in the event there was never a bonus time....) after the wedding, i went back and they gave me the SEVEN other bowls for FREE!!!! :) they said i was entitled to them since the 'bonus' ran during the time i was registered. talk to a bridal consult... they'll look up your registry and see if this applies to you,
