I dont know anyone, but I second that opinion on being very very careful choosing a doctor. I just read an article i that showed some side effects to it and it didnt look pretty. Remember its Permanent, make sure you find someone highly recommended.

I think anything is better than what I don't have to begin with....they just are so scattered...I don't wanna go on my honeymoon having to pencil myself in every damn morning!

Its totally understandable, Im sure it would make life so much easier. The only downfall is, youll have to get them touched up every few years because they will begin to fade. In the article, it talked about how one doctor didnt do it evenly so the lady was walking around with uneven eyebrows. They were also talking about how you wont be able to change the shape of them either, if you wanted to in the future. Just make sure you put a lot of thought into it before actually doing it.

I just read an article about permanent makeup in Glamour last night! They showed one girl who got permanent eye liner and eyebrows I think and she looked awesome. There was also another picture of somebody who was planning on getting the permanent eyeliner but had an allergic reaction and had little purple dots (looked almost like blood blisters) on her eyelid. I don't know if there's a way you could find out if you would be allergic to it, but I know I would have never thought of that.

Just remember that as you get older your 'eyebrows' will sag and might not look as good as they do originally.

Does anyone do a temporary or henna type tattoo for the eyebrow?

Did you ever find anyone good for permanent makeup? I know someone that did her eyebrows and they look great. I had no idea hers were fake. I want to get my lips done before my wedding.

Re: Permanent Make-up

I understand your frustration but I would NEVER do it. Any makeup, even someting like eyeborws changes style. In the 80's everyone had these huge brows, in the 90's it was thin thin thin, and now it's a little thicker. Like I'd never wear my eyebrows as thin as I used to. So I don't think it's a good idea. Penciling isn't SO bad, you know? it's worse than sagging and having all misshapped brows later, or hating the look of them

Re: Permanent Make-up

Permanent Make-up fades and eventually goes away in a few years, so when you start to get old and are about to wrinkle, all you have to do is stop getting touch ups and the tatoo will fade away.

i think there is a way that you can get them dyed to make what you have look darker-

otherwise i would not do it!

i have a friend who got permanent eye liner and it did not look good- she had tokeep going back-

IMO i wouldn't mess around with my eye area at all.

Don't you still have to get rid of the hair that grows underneath or do you get electrolysis?
