...are any of you doing anything to honor them at your wedding? There's a girl from college who got me and FH together...and I probably would never have met him without her. The girl and I haven't always been friends but we're closer now and I'd love to do something to thank her. Any ideas? TIA.

Our Maid of Honor and Best Man are married and they introduced us......I will definitely make a speech and let everyone know how special they are to us!!

Aww, that's sooo sweet! Maybe you can make a short speech saying that you wouldn't be where you are now if it weren't for her! She'd probably be embarrassed but very thankful!

One of my BM's was there when we met and she is the one who told me to go on a date with him so I am going to honor her in the program!

I met FH while i was doing my teaching internship, in a 2 year olds class, and we met because his nephew was in my class and he came to pick him up from school one day. So his nephew is going to be the Ring bearer.

We knew of each other when we were younger, but didn't actually hang out until my friend and his were dating. My friend is my MOH but his, he doesn't really kit with anymore and wont be at our wedding. To answer the question, I don't think I will be doing anything.

we didnt do it at the wedding but we did at our e-party. DH's friend, one of our GM is the one who was asking me what i thought about Dh and gave him the OK to talk to me that i would be interested hahaha. I knew his friend from the neighborhood and he had dated a friend of mine so was hanging out that night with him at a club and dh was there.
At e-party MOH made a speech, and right after DH grabbed the mic from her and said he wanted to thank his friend and the speech was dedicated to his friend lol. Dh actually said the words 'for having the b*lls to talk to her when i didnt' i was like OMG did you just say B*lls in your speech it was a cute and funny speech and we made everyone stand up and toast to him it was funny bc his friend got a little embarassed but in a good way, he was very surprised by it

I can thank Mate One for meeting !!!!!!!!! I found that site by accident since I was looking for a pen pal for my friends daughter !!!!!!!!!!!! And look what happened .... we are now getting married !!!!!!!!!!!! YAHOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!
