Personal q. ($$/finance) about your vendor budget - How much did you spend?
Hello all,
I hope it's not a faux pas to ask this, but I am a newly engaged bride and I was wondering -- how much did you past brides spend on all the main vendors you used?
For example:
Photo Flowers Limo Video DJ Planner Hair & Makeup
You don't need to tell me what you spent on each particular thing, just how much for all of these things together (approx). I know a lot of the times it's based on a % of what your hall costs, but I don't know if I am going to follow that equation. Basically I am trying to find out if I am over paying for things!!!

Hello all,
We spent:
Photo -we spent $3500 (it depends on how much is included in your package too) Flowers-$2500 (we had 10 high CPs, one bride boq, 2 MOH bo-ks, 1 BM boq, 5 corsages for moms, aunts; 3 bouts; free rose petals and free flowers on passed hors' douevres; flowers for gazebo and card table)-it depends on how much you are getting Limo- $850- only to and fro RH plus a shuttle bus for guests to and fro RH Video- $1500 DJ and MC- $2000 Planner-didn't use one! Hair & Makeup- $250 for me, hair- $75 each BM, makeup- $100 each BM CH band (steel drum band)- $1,000
We got great deals on our limos and video (we think) lol. The prices we paid were much less than other quote we got when we were shopping around!

I dont mind sharing... here's what I spend...
Photo - a little over $5000 with videography and albums Flowers - around $2000 including funkins we bought ourselves - 15 low centerpieces, two MOH bo-ks, one bm and everyone else Limo - $1800 for a Bentley and a regular limo for bp Video - included in photography DJ - $2900 - BIG package - two tvs, dinner singer, percussionist Planner - not getting one or will get DOC later Hair & Makeup - $300 together for day of and $100 together for trial.
