Since we're all about to take the plunge... have you and you FH/FW talked about....

Just Kidding.. I do love the thought of having kids.. but.. just not right now.. not ready to be a Dad yet.. a few years down the road.. I want time for the FW and me to be by ourselves til we're ready.

We want them, just not now.
We talked about possible names and things we want to teach them. Him playing catch with our son, watching football, me having the best dressed girl baking, soccer games, dance lessons, etc....we want all of that..but in time. We want 'us' time. We want a house and want to enjoy the house. We want it to be us for a little, then start with the kids

totally agree with you.. that's a good plan! You're the only one who posted so far.. I'll assume nobody's thinking of ikids right now.... the ladies w/o kids want their wedding and the honeymoon first..

Will & I have been talking about it for a while. Originally I did not want children, but the more I see him with my friends kids, the more I want this for us as well... He is soo good with kids & he really enjoys being with our friends kids, that I can't deny him that experience.

john and i are thinking that we would wait about 4-5 years that may change once we get married we are both 28 and we both have never left home so what we are looking forward to is living together and traveling together kids kind of hinder that

Since we are both on the other side of 30, me-35, him-38, we definitely WANT kids sooner than later. However not too soon and not TOO late either! Whenever the time is right we will know it. My friends are all pretty much on #2 and I am first getting married. I don't regret that at all because I know that I have found the right person.

We definitely want kids at some point, but I need to finish graduate school (dissertation - eek!) first, and I want to start a career, so it will be a few years. I'm only 24 though, so I'm not in a rush.
