I know this is personal but I have to go on birth control for medical reasons. I am wondering if anyone gained weight while taking ortho tri cyclen. I am worried that I'll gain weight right before the wediing and I already ordered my dress.TIA

everyone is different, and reacts differently...you would have to honestly try it out for three months, see what happens, and then your doctor can switch you to something else.
I hear Yaz is great and has virtually no side affects.

When i first started the pill i was on Ortho tri cyclen and i didnt gain any weight. I was on it for 4 years and then started to get really bad headaches so i switched to a new brand.

I have been on Ortho Tri Cyclen for the past 8 years, and I have not gained any weight, or atleast not weight that i have attributed to the birth control pills. Your boobs will get bigger though.....which last time I checked isn's a bad thing

I gained 15lbs in a month and a half.....it was horrible I was off it VERY fast
