To be honest, I thought we weren't doing it enough, so when I found out I was pg, I was surpised and DH was relieved that his guys were strong!! The week that I conceived, we only did it 2x, I think it was 3 days before I ovulated and then again 2 days before. So, of course I was disappointed during the 2 week wait, thinking that it wasn't our month, but it was!
A OBGYN of the family advised me to wait 7-10 after your cycle and have sex everyday for a week. You will get pregnant. It worked for us.
Do you just have sex once a day for 7 days, or more than once?
Melissa- buy the book we are all telling you to read. it explains this stuff in graphic detail. It really makes your life A LOT easier.
I agree on buying that TCOYF – it seems to be very informative, and then when there are involved questions you can reference it. You might also want to take a look at fertilityfriend.com or babymed.com and get involved with the chat groups there. That is what my friend did, and found it to be very helpful. They have little chat rings there where the girls are all on the same cycle, TTC at the same time, etc. Take a look!
I know, I know... I have not had the opportunity to purchase the book. I have been so busy. I've been meaning to get to Borders. I just thought since I haven't had the time to get the book or read it, I could get some quick info from you girls to help me with this cycle of TTC since it's within the next day or two. (I originally thought it would of been yesterday or today, but it wasn't). So we are continuing with TTC. I just didn't know if we are doing it too much, not enough, on the right days, etc. I pretty much know what I want to know, I just keep questioning myself because I keep hearing all different things concerning timing, etc. that I don't know what is the most reliable method? I will try to get there tomorrow in case this cycle of TTC doesn't work, I'm hoping it does though...
