Anyone saving their viginity for their wedding night? It is too late for us, but I was just curious if anyone was following that tradition.

No, I am de-virginized! However I think that is sweet.

Re: Personal Question but...
You must have been reading my mind. I was thinking about the same thing last night. I waited 25 years to give it to my FH. I was going to wait until the wedding because he is the type of guy who would wait forever as long as it made me feel okay, but something made me give it to him last year. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if I had waited. I wonder how our relationship would be. Last year, we gave up sex for Lent. This year our schedules were so busy that we only saw each other on the weekends so I didn't think it would be fair to torture ourselves like that. I think we may try to abstain from Lent of 2004 until the wedding on June 20th.
I could have been a virgin bride, but part of me is glad I'm not. If we were both virgins waiting for each other, that would be a different story (and yes, it does happen)
Oh well, it's in the past. I am marrying the one I gave it to. I feel good.

Nope and as a rule, I would not marry someone I did not know *ahem* 'intimately'.

Good answer, Stef!
Juliet, you might want to check out the knot.com chat boards for this topic. It's discussed there quite often and with A LOT of passion! The amount of virgins on the Knot boards is staggering!

Re: Personal Question but...
I wonder where are the virgins are hiding. I guess not on Long Island.
WhatNow? Theknot seems to have a lot of young brides who are very much looking forward to old fashioned traditional wife roles. They are all ecstatic about changing their names because it signifies unity, yet I wonder if any of them have considered their own feelings. I am a traditionalist, but not so much that I jeopardize who I am. Interesting study: Virgin Brides Across the US.
