Personal training??

Hey girls...I really want to start doing personal training of some kind (I NEED to have some kind of accountability to go work out)...
Do any of you have any reccomendations as to where to go, who to look at (who isnt too expensive, I cant afford $60 a session 3x's a week...) Does anyone use a trainer/Do you train (If you do, just say yes or no, I dont want to get anyone in trouble with the powers that be...)

i dont know of anyone specifically, but just wanted to suggest looking on craigslist.

one of my friends found a personal trainer on craigslist (she was trained at a gym...it wasn't shady like going to the person's house or nething). It was much cheaper than other trainers she had seen and it worked out great for her. maybe see if there is anyone on there?!

I have been working with a personal trainer for a couple of months and it really has helped me work out consistently and forces me to get to the gym too, which I so needed. So, I think they are great! I ctually found mine through my gym. I belong to LA Fitness, and I was able to get $25/session and I go 1-2 times a week and then workout myself in between. I also have my regular membership monthly dues of $49.99 and I pay $100-200 month for my personal training (depending how many times per week). At first, I thought iwas a little pricey, but its been a great investment. I feel healthier & stonger and this is probably the first time I have worked out consistently, where prior I would go and then weeks would pass and then would go again. So, plus it really teaches you how to effectively work out the right way.

If you belong to a gym, I would check with your gym or I know there are private places to get one on one traing too. Good Luck!
