Hey ladies, do any of you know how to personalize an aisle runner? I really don't want to spend too much money on it. I've seen them online, but it will be cheaper to do it myself.

I'm actually not going to have one. I decided it's just not necessary. I think I'm going to personalize something else instead, like the champagne flutes and/or the cake cutters / servers. I still haven't decided.

I definitely saw a DIY thread on this once... i thought i had it notebooked, but I can't find it.
Basically the girl had printed out a template from her computer; It spanned numerous pages to make it large enough. She laid the aisle runner over the template and traced it, i believe used acrylic paint to fill it in.
hope this helps a little!

You can print the template normal size and get it blown up at Kinko's. I was thinking about doing one, but I have way too many other projects

You can paint it with Acrylic or you can fill it in with markers. I think the Acrylic paint works the best.
You can buy the blank one a Michael's I think... you just need to know the measurements of the aisle.
