So I found these Personalized Glasses online that I think would be really cute as a wedding favor. You can have two lines of writing and a cartoon-y picture (one is reallly cute). I was telling my mom about it and she told me that its stupid and that whenever she got things like that as favors she would throw them out. I don't get it, its a cup, its useful. I dunno. Be honest, is it me?!?!?......

I am a firm believer that if you and FH like it, thats all that matters.
A cup is def useful! I def wouldn't throw it out if i got it.

I think, if so, it doesn't work as well as it would for a more casual and laid back affair.

Useful favors are the best! I still have a coffee mug that I got from a wedding 2 years ago that I use almost everyday! I say, if you and your FH love it, then go for it!!

This. Also, favors I think, are the one area of the wedding that you can skimp on. For some of your close family and friends they may like receiving that kind of favor for sentimental value. But if you think there is a chance that it might be wasted money because other guests won't use them or take them with them, then maybe look at something else.
But if you and your FH really love it, then go for it. It is your wedding!! I just don't think favors are worth the stress IMO. HTH!

I think it would be fine. Glasses are useful and if its a good cute picture it should work as a great favor.
