yay or nay? We have so many smokers that will be attending, and they are so cheap! I like them to even have around the house for candles and such. Opinions?

i say YAY. i collect them, so i ordered the match boxes b/c for me it was worth the $ to have a few for myself and my mom and FMIL
i want the matchbooks too but i know i don't 'need' both

I am against these for my own personal reasons...I hate that people smoke...I wish my mom would stop...my grandmother died because of her smoking cig;s so I am not putting matches on the tables...although i love how they look and they are a cute idea for lighting candles...but like i said, i am against smoking...so i would be a hypocritte...(however you spell that word..LOL)

I hate smoking but I do think the matches are cute. My mom still has the matches from weddings they went to 20 years ago.
If only personalized nicorette was as wedding-appropriate?

you know..i was surprised to hear some of you collect them...my sister in law collects them too...I didnt realize they were such a collectable item i guess...I was thinking of getting them cause FH and I met on match.com (i know thats a little gay but) and now we decided to get a cigar roller so it might be a good idea..i think you girls sold me on it.

lol yeah we would have to come up with something really cheesy like 'thanks match.com! ' i think most people we are inviting (our friends and coworkers anyway) know we met on match.

i purchased them also for the fact that people can use them to light candles- i never usually have them stocked in my house and always wish i did when i go to light candles i have taken a few from prior weddings and think it is such a great reminder when using them i see the name & date of the bride and groom - i like them!
