Is anyone getting them or has anyone gotten them!!? For M&M's they are quite expensive!!!! Is it worth it?

My friend got them last year and they did look really cute. We considered it because we wanted to attach a little something sweet to our donation cards, but thought it was too expensive. Instead we are going to just order the custom colors to match the wedding without the writing (still more expensive than regular!), but I thought it would have the same visual effect.

We are doing them!!!!! They are so expensive though. I bought some clear boxes to put them in.

They were the favors and part of the CP's at a christening I was at recently, very nice, but I thought it was too expensive. I will be making Thank you mini chocolate bars and wrapping them in paper with our monogram!

I thought they were to expensive.. the bag you get is so small you would have to buy a lot of them!

Oh I like that idea, too. Are you going to put them in a little baggy or something, or have them lloose?

We did them for our engagement party favors.
But we used 3 different colors, and only personalized 1 of the colors ... so it was less

When we were thinking of candy for favors, there was no doubt we were doing M&Ms. When we saw that they make them in aqua, there was nothing else but that! The cost was not a problem w/ us. I checked to see how much one bag of M&Ms will cost at a store, the average: $0.75 cents, when you look at it, the big bag at the M&Ms website, comes to about the same per ounce. I was tempted to buy the aqua candy when I was at the Vegas store, but it would not be personalized, so we'll just spend the extra $$$ and get the effect we want.

We are doing donations also and I was going to do the personalized M&Ms but I just don't think it is worth the money.
But FYI: I was in party city this weekend and they actually sold some of the colored ones in the store. I didn't really look into it, because they didn't have my color, but take a look at party city in th wedding section.

My MOH got them for me for my shower. They were on each table (very very cute). I have a big box left over so I am going to have them in a dish at the bar at the RH.

we bought them as well,, i got 2 colors personalized & one color not .. I plan on putting thrme in a really nice vase thype of thing next to the choclate fountain,,

I'm buying plain pink & brown M&M's but from 'I Love Sweet Treats' - costing $46.95 for a 5 lb. bag - a lot cheaper then from the official M&M website. Plus, our names our Michelle & Michael so we are M&M anyway.
I just couldn't justify spending that much money on M&Ms. So instead we bought the 50% off Easter M&Ms. The pastels will still match my wedding colors and they were CHEAP. I'm just hoping that no one notices the bunnies and chicks on them.
