Personalized M&M's

I'm most probably doing this as one of my favors and have a question for the girls that ordered them for their weddings:

How far in advance did you recieve them? Where did you store them? Thanks

I want to order mine sometime at the end of May just because I hate waiting till last minute.

They should be totally ok if you store them somewhere cool... and in boxes or something so mice can't get to them...atleast thats what we're doing with some of the candy we already got after easter.

I ordered them for my son's communion. They come in a foam ice box, with ice packs, believe it or not . I had no problem storing them at all. When the ice pack got warm, I just refroze it. I ordered them from M&M direct though. Not sure how other places ship them.
