I think we will be using these as favors, but I'm not sure how many to order. We will need to make about 60 servings. They are sold in a 7oz bag. Has anyone ever ordered these? If so, how many of these bags did you order?
it depends how much you want to give each person. you can mix them with plain ones too to cut costs
They are pretty expensive, aren't they? I wanted to get them for my FH as a gift once... and I remember thinking they were over priced

4 7oz bags cost about $48 which isn't too bad, but I still want to buy cute little boxes and ribbons. I could mix plain ones too I guess, but then I won't be able to only use my aqua color.
That is a good idea. How many favors did you end up making with that amount?
i was thinking of ordering them for the engagement party. it's my FH favorite candy.
I made 40 favor tins (small) filled with the personalized m&ms and it took 7 bags. I would say to get about 10 or 11. They get expensive!!
I just did these. Under the business section, you can order a 10 lb bag in bulk. It doesnt come packaged, just in a plastic bag. Its $250, and comes out to about 5000 M&Ms. I bought these cute little boxes (pics in my album) and put about 25-30 in each one.
I am in the middle of making bags for my dad's surprise party! I mixed the personalized ones wiyth the plain ones. Party City has the regular m&m's in all colors!
