how are you guys going to personalize your mass so that it is not boring but romantic and sentimental
My priest did that for us. When he marries couples, he makes them write letters to each other saying out of all the men/women in the world why so and so. And that was what he based his homily on. It was all about Chris and I. I have never heard so many peopel comment on how beautiful and personal our ceremony was. People were crying and laughing at the same time. It was truly a beautiful ceremony.
OH i love that! how do i know if my priest will do that?
We are using Rev. Callahan (a vendor on here). He said he can personalize the ceremony in any way we want! We are going to meet with him a few months beofre to decide everything!
can u do that in a catholic church?
I've known the priest that is marrying us since i was very young - and he knows me like i am his own daughter (i acutally used to be friends wiht hsi daughter - we are the same age) - so i know he will make it special.
im catholic... not all priests do that but i was told that my priest does. He is a younger donw to earth priest.. I had my husbands friends, guys no less comeup to us saying what a beautiful ceremony it was.!
we are using cantor harris cohen(vendor here) and we just got our program from family medallion and he said he was going to use that instead of his own! so he was flexable.. the wedding is less then a week i felt bad about it but we really wanted it and he said no problem! in a church well i know my church is very old school and there is no changeing theres!
