So, I have 2 cats in addition to my cavalier puppy Alice, since we got her, the cats have been stuck in my basement because they don't get along and the cats (jack & jill) try to KILL Alice. So I really think it is unfair to the poor things to have to live in my basement. The basement is finished, but they don't get much love anymore. I tried emailing the NSAL, but they never responded back. Would anyone be interested in adopting them or know of anyone?? They are about 5 years old, brother and sister tabby cats. They are very loving and sweet, but they need more love and attention.

Have you tried to research ways to introduce the animals? I had a very old cat and introduced her to 2 new kittens. It was a tough adjustment but with time and patience it works. I did searches on the internet and found lots of sites that explain the best way to do this. It can be done and you don't have to sacrifice your cats. I know that i could never give my animals away. Especially my oldest one for a newer one.

I forgot to mention that my FH highly allergic to my cats. So as much as I love them, I love him more. I just feel that it is so cruel to them to not have the attention they used to.
