Do any of you ladies have recommendations for Pet sitters/Pet Hotels etc? I have 2 Poms and will be gone for just over a week. None of my family members can handle or like pets LOL Please - any info at this point would be great! Thanks!

My sister has used Fonab Kennels in Commack and K9 Clubhouse in West Babylon for her two doggies. K9 Clubhouse even has an app for the iPhone where you can watch your doggies on the webcam while you are away!

a friend of mine dropped her Jack Russell Terrier off there for the weekend when she went away, and she said he was a happy pup when she brought him back home. I'll text her and ask her to give me some more details

Fonab Kennels in Commack - My boss and a few friends use them and they all LOVE LOVE LOVE them.

cozy noses in bohemia is amazing...we left my goldendoodle there for two weeks while we were in hawaii for our honeymoon...they even sent us a postcard!

I've used them several times now and will be using them for our honeymoon and we haven't had any problems at all. Our dog seems to love it there. (Then again, hes a golden- so he loves everything and everyone.)
The last time we boarded him, he had a hot spot and they did everything for us! They provided him with the cleanser, lotion, antibiotics AND pain killers twice a day for 3 days they only charged us like $14 for all of that.
It's also cute how they post pics on facebook of the dogs playing.

this is where my doggies are going during our honeymoon Used to take them to Fonab... they always came back with kennel cough. HTH!

I'm going to check out Willow Pet Hotels.. they seemed really nice on the phone.
I'll let you know how it is, checking it out tomorrow.

We use Smitty's in Middle Island, the owners are the ones that actually work there, I'm sending u the link so u can check it out:
We always board our dog and cats at East Meadow Animal Hospital. The staff there is great and our pug is always excited to go there! Can't say enough nice things about them.
