We are getting married at the RH and getting ready at the Four Points Shearton (everything has been booked and our OOT guests will be there). I didn't think of it at the time but, pets are not allowed at the hotel and I really wanted to at least take a pic with my pup while in my dress. Is anyone else having the same problem and what are you going to do?

Re: Pet Participation
Luckily enough for us, our dog is tiny so I was able to sneak him in to the hotel. We also planned on having a friend bring him to the church as we came out after the recieving line - but they ended up sneaking him for the entire ceremony I didn't even realize until we were walking out and I spotted him!
Maybe you can have a friend of family member bring your pet to the hotel and you can take some pictures outside on the hotel grounds?
FH wants our boxer to walk down the aisle That would never happen, she literally bounces of walls. Im doing pics at my moms house while getting ready - maybe I can get my dog there for a little while

Love the pic with him on your dress! We are about 40 min from the Four Points. My pup is a Shih Tzu. I could sneak him in........I guess

Honestly she just sat there herself and started scratching and making herself a spot in my dress. She was absolutly adorable that day...you couldn't of posed her there if you tried!
I mean you gotta do what you gotta do. Does anyone live near the hotel where the dog can stay the night and that person can bring her over for some pics? We just had the dog at my parents house so DH didn't get to be with her

We just had our pups professionally photographed this way we can have a 'nice' pic of them to display at the RH. I'm awaiting the proofs, anyday now!!

this makes me sad too! I'm also using the four points and I'd probably sneak her in but I have no one to drive her and then drop her off

Re: Pet Participation
Here is an idea for those of you who want your pets there and can't...
for my sister, my dad a picture of her four dogs put into an ice sculpture that was displayed almost all night.

Re: Pet Participation
i'm getting ready at my parents house and Cooper will be with me. He's very crazy so I 'hired' one of my sister's friends to be his 'handler' for the day... she'll walk him and play with him and make sure he's secured on a leash while he's inside and around us so he doesn't jump and tear the dresses or get them dirty. My sister's friend will keep him occupied until after the ceremony where she'll meet us with him at the beach where we'll take picture with him and then she will drop him off at his pet hotel. She is so generous to take a day off from work to do this (we're totally paying her!) but it's such a huge help because we couldn't NOT have Cooper there in pictures with us.

Re: Pet Participation
I guess I could look into hiring a 'handler' or dog walker that would maybe take the extra step of picking up and dropping off. Can anyone recommend anyone??

Re: Pet Participation
I would love to have my cats involved somehow but they will be 1000 miles away at our apartment (OOT) -- instead we're naming our signature drinks after them, and including a pic of them snuggling as the background.
I had to find a way to include them!

Re: Pet Participation
I am having my hair and makeup done at my house but getting dressed at RH....I was going to see if my photog would come to my house and then go to RH but if not my MOH has a great camera and I would just have her take pics of me with my babies....then maybe I could email them to my photog to put into the album (if that even works...LOL)
