I've gone to a few paper stores and am not really satisfied with the selection.
Or it is super expensive per sheet. (like $5)
How much are you spending per petal cone?
Are you using normal 8x11 size paper?

Re: Petal Cone Help!
i bought 12x12 scrap book paper when it was on sale at michaels... there are a TON of different designs... i then cut each sheet down to 6x6 and made the petal cones from that...

I'm using normal sized paper...the template I have is from word and you just cut out the circle on the paper. Haven't started to look at paper for them though.

Re: Petal Cone Help!
I got scrapbook paper from Michael's. It is kind of expensive ($2 a sheet), but it's a 12x12 sheet so you get 4 cones out of 1 sheet. In the current issue of Bride's magazine they have a 25% off coupon for your entire wedding order.

Re: Petal Cone Help!
So do you cut the paper into four and then just roll it up?
I guess stapling the paper together is out of the question???
I'm like the least craftiest person out there!

Re: Petal Cone Help!
Thanks for the Michael's tip! There is such a huge selection! Plus it's cheap. I love it. I'm planning to buy 12x12 paper and cut it into 4.
Do you cut the paper into a circle and roll it up?

Re: Petal Cone Help!
that's what i did. I've only made one (my sample) and I used craft glue, which was terrible! But I read somewhere on the boards to use double sided tape, but I'm thinking about using glue dots instead.
I just held one of the squares up diagonally, and rolled left side in, then right side over top of left. You'll see once you do it. It's pretty easy

Re: Petal Cone Help!
I've never been to a craft store before I got engaged! Sorry if my questions are redundant.
I was planning to draw one large circle on the 12x12 paper first. so then when I cut the 12x12 into 4 pieces, there will be 4 cones.
