I wanted to do petal cones as a DIY project. I can have my cousin makes labels and put them on but I was just wondering, do you use just regular 8 1/2 X 11 paper or do you use a square? What kind of paper and IF I wanted to write something on the cone, how would I do that?

save-on-crafts.com has super cheap templates. might make the diy easier for you.

i used paper doilies from the 99cents store and elmer's glue. they served their purpose and it cost me like 10-20 bucks the most
