Does anyone know how big the paper has to be?

There's a post about this on the DIY board.

Otherwise, you can go with 8.5x11 or 11x14 for the paper.

i bought 12x12 scrap book paper from Michaels, then cut it down into 4... and i made the cones from 6x6 paper

I was having trouble with my printer...I cant print 12X 12 so I cut it in half and couldnt print on 6 X 12 either...any advice?

can you get your printer to print 6x6?? I dont know how to help with that problem... have you tried changing the settings and everything??

after they came out of the compt, i trimmed them down.

before i started printing on the good paper I did a bunch of test runs and rolled them up beforehand to figure out where to cut to give the curve. once i got it perfect i printed everything out, traced the curve, cut them out, then rolled them out... i hope that helps!! I dont have a template on the compt to share, i used a piece of paper as my template. I hope that helps!!

I used a regular 8.5 x 11 and used power point to print my text. Hope this helps.

so I guess there isnt a standard size for petal cones....it seems that some are bigger than others....great thanks girls for all your help....I am going to play with it a little more and see what I come up with...
