What color petals are you using for the flowergirl? I am afraid of staining the bottom of my dress or my train. Do you think it's dumb to use fake petals? Is anyone else thinking of using fake ones?

I am planning on using dk purple on the edges of the aisle and maybe ivory for the flower girls to throw for that exact reason.

We are using chocolate brown and sky blue silk petals only because those are our colors and white natural rose petals wouldn't show on the runner. Never thought about possibly staining my dress, so that's a good point.

our church doesnt allow them...so i was thinking of getting fake ones. do they really stain your dress bad?
