I am currently in the process of drafting a letter to the US Consular to request a visa for my great aunt. Can I just say that this is harder than I thought it would be. I really have no clue what to say except please let my great aunt attend the wedding!

Gotta do something similar... send out those legal invitations to two other countries...its a pain...

This is such a pain! They need the invite ASAP and I have to FedEx it to Paraguay!

Hollie..did you contact some kind of immigration specialist? I know there are a couple in Queens like 'Ciudadanos Conscientes' that might be better equipped to help you. You might need additional papers other than the invitation letter. GOOD LUCK!
