Re: Pew decorations...
We are doing chocolate satin & Chiffon bows w/ sunflowers, roses, pepper berries and ivy.
Forgot to mention, the florist is taking care of this for us. In addition she will be draping chiffon from pew to pew, with the pew bows at every other pew.

Re: Pew decorations...
Florist is in charge of this.
What I chose is: hydrangeas tied with a brown bow, and then tulle hanging down with flower petals in the bottom.
Will do 10 decorations total, so 5 on each side, every other pew.

Re: Pew decorations...
I have been wondering about this too so I'm curios to see the responses. I have no idea what to do about pew decorations.
About how much does a florist charge for pew decorations? My poor budget can't handle much more.

Ok that's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Thank you!

Re: Pew decorations...
I decided on DIY. I bought a box of 12 bows made from tulle ribbon with wired edges from Michaels with coupon of course for $20. Then I bought a few sprays of silk flowers in pastel shades of peach, yellow, blue, lilac and ivory; cut them into smaller sprigs and mixed colors and flowers and twisted them into the bows and tied them up with twistems. I think them look pretty and it saves me from worrying about will they get their on time and get put on the pews. Supposedly you can give them to the church beforehand and they will hang them when the are readying the church for your ceremony. If that isn't true then one of my friends gets to go early to hang them. but $30 for this item saves money for something else.

Depends on who you use. We had J ack& R ose - they charged $400 for two small baskets and 10 pew bows they were a total rip off

Definitely depends on who you use. The cost above does not include our two altar baskets, that's additional to the $100 for the pew decorations.

Re: Pew decorations...
I am DIY'ing them. Made 14 so far, want 6 more. Bought the Ribbon Kit from ACMoore, some ribbons and tulle and went to work. Definetely save me some cash, comes out to $12 for every 3 that I do.

I just did plain white sating bows. The church was so gorgeous, I didn't think I needed anything else and I was right. My florist did them....

Re: Pew decorations...
I am buying the ribbon and having a lady in my bunco group make them for me. She said she would do it for free, which is great!!! I am going to get ivory ribbon when the stores start to put their christmas ribbon out (which is sometime in july for x-mas in july) I will put the ivory ones on the first 3 pews I think. Then I am going to get some fall ribbon and put on the rest of the pews (every couple of pews) I haven't decided if I will incorporate any fall leaves or flowers in with them yet or not.

Re: Pew decorations...
I am pretty lucky because my church offers candle pew decorations. Sounds like a fire hazard to me, but basically, there will be a lit candle at the end of each pew. They have been doing it for years so I trust them! I will be getting married at 6pm, so I think it will give off a beautiful glow!
