My FH is Philipino, I want to encorporate some of the traditional customs into our ceremony/reception. Problem is he knows NOTHING about them, and refuses to really find out. I know that during the ceremony there are the ropes and the coins, etc. Can someone explain to me what I need to do and where to get these things. Also, are you having sponsors?? thanks!

I am so happy to see someone in the same predicament as I am. My fiancee is also Philipino and his mother wants us to incorporate some of the traditions but I don't have much information either.

I don't mind encorporating. His parents didn't ask us to. I just think it would be nice to recognize his culture in some way. I'm so lost tho!
