So on my way home from work last night my Step-Brother called me. Now this in itself is an odd situation b/c Step-Brother has yet to master the concept of staying in touch via telephone. So I automatically think somethings wrong!!! The convo goes as so.....
Me: Hey, whats wrong!?!?!?!?
Step-Bro: Nothin kiddo how are you?
Me: Fine......(pause) so whats going on?
Step-Bro: Well I got your E-party invite in the mail today and I was wondering if you would be upset if I didnt go? You see I have this conference I was planning to go to.
Me: Oh...well yeah no thats fine if its a work thing and they are sending you out of town.
Step-Bro: Oh no, its not work related...its a SCIENCE conference in AC and they only have it once a year and well..... I really want to go.
Me: Yeah, sure fine.
OK HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm having my E-Party only once in a life time & you wanna ditch it to go to a yearly Science Conference?!?!?!?!?!?!?
Yeah, cant make stuff like this up!

yuck! a party sounds a lot more fun then a science conference!!! regardless of weather its a friend/family/ or even enemy i would soooo chose a party first!!!!

that s*cks, i agree he should be there for u cause it's way more important than a science conference! dont feel too bad tho, atleast he called to tell u he wasnt going to make it. my big bro and his family just did a no call no show the day of......
