I've had my number for maybe 5 yrs and through the course of time I've met people and given the number out. Now I've been with Fh for a little over a year and it seems like anyone who's ever had the number is calling now.

last monday I got a text from a guy friend that FH doesnt know at 12:30 at night talking about ' Can you talk' then on Tuesday exbyfd started calling again ( told him I was engaged) then Wed. an old friend started texting ( told him I was engaed) and he started sending all of these strange 'Im coming back for you' messages. Then lastnight phone rang Fh is in bed next to me watching tv and he hears this guy that i went out with a couple of times and havent talked to since fh and I have been together. He said he was just calling to see how I was doing to. But it just looks bad and Fh is not appreciating it

i dont think any guys have my number honestly. . . i have been with FH since I was 15 so there are no real ex's to worry about

if i were you i would definitely just change the number - for peace of mind. . . that way you dont have to worry about who is calling you every time the phone rings!

Im waiting to hear back from a company that I had an interview with on Friday after I hear from them I calling to change the number.
But the thing is that normally no guys call me it's just last week. I dont know what is going on

thats what happens with guys - its like they get vibes that you are happy in your corner of the world and they have to come crash it

I changed my cell number. I went a year between breaking up with my last bf and meeting fh. I Had given out my cell to a few people during that year. I figure I am now starting a new life with my fh and anyone who I still talk with I will give the new number to. Those who I no longer am friends with don't need to be able to find me. It also helped keep my ex away when he learned I am getting married.

ETA: I was changing carriers anyway so I just didn't transfer the number.

I agree. If people aren't going to respect the fact that you are engaged and soon to be married, then I'd just change the number. No need to start trouble in your relationship.

didn't change mine but i have been getting freaky stalker calls tho~~ figure they'll prob give up after awhile tho

I have because I had my number for so long before FH and people that I dated were still calling. I guess bored with nothing else to do, so I had to put an end to it.
