photgrapher screwed us...sort of long vent

sp 4 months till my wedding and its beginning!! So 3 weeks a go i call to confirm my photo/video and the pwner is like i will call you back, she never did. So i called her 4 days later, same scenerio, so i call her a week and a half later, she gets back to me and tells me the photographer she guarenteed us is unavailable for our wedding now!!! and i gave her a $1200 deposit only becasue she promises me this women, as she really was what Fi and I wanted. So now we have to go wed and check out 2-3 other photograhers..i am so mad, what if we don't like them, i remember looking at some of their work the first time when we were making an initial decison and Iwe didnt love them (hence we chose the women)....I am soo upset!!
So ontop of it..i call the travel agentcy (liberty travels) to confirm the HM to mexico and when I asked her to go over the price and break it down, she got nasty, said my manager will call you tomorrow and hung up on me!!!
Plus the BM dresses came in...and theya r enot the soft lilac they looked like in the sample swatch w were shown, its brighter and looks nothing like lilac!! My girls are going to be mad b/c i dont think it will be the most flattering on them.
then my mom's dress came in and instead of the silver swatch we were shown, it came out elephant grey!! My mom was so upset and they refused to take it back or exchange it, so i had to buy her a new dress b/c i felt so bad!
Is anyone else having any issue salready???

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this crap It's a lot of unneeded stress on account of other's carelessness. As for the photog...did they book her with someone else? Do you have her name in your contract?

I wouldn't tolerate attitude from Liberty Travel (or anywhere) I hope you got the girls name you s/w and I hope you get her in trouble tomorrow when her manager calls you back! Don't take any bull!

I'm sorry you are going through this, but if the name of the woman you want to photograph your wedding is on the contract that HAVE to honor it or refund some of your money.
