Photgraphy direction

This quest ion is for past and future brides...

How much direction did you/will you give your photographer? I have a few 'must takes,' but I also have some pics that I really love and just want them to make the pics happen. But I don't want to overstep ... they're obviously the experts here.

What did you ladies do? What will you do? I'm not talking about portraits here... more like creative, photojournalistic shots.

I honestly just let them do their thing. I loved how our e-pics came out so I was completely confident in the pics they'd take. There's a few pics I wish I took but they're not the norm, so it's not their fault, I should have just told them. Other than that, I loved that they gave us all these awesome ideas and they went crazzyyy the whole day taking pics of everything
