FH and I are looking to book our photographer in the next few weeks and I am wondering if anyone has negotiated with their photographer? How and what did you get? Ex. Did you get things added or a lower price?

We didn't get anything extra thrown in, but we negotiated the price down slightly. They took it down about $200 when we told them the package price was too high for us, and they took half a deposit and allowed us to pay the other half a few months later. I would certainly try to if you can!! Don't get me wrong, they do an amazing job for the money and they truly earn it, but it adds up, and anything you can get and pay less for in the process, i say go for it! ;)

Everyone is negotiable! Especially photographers! They know if you don't get what you are looking for from them-you will just go someplace else.

We got a lot of extras thrown into our package as well as the price being slashed considerably. We told them what we wanted at what price.

we didnt book yet but so far Cassarino in Mineola threw a bunch of things in and will work with us on price if we find something comparable with a lower price.... they were really great at the meeting! we met with cathy
