Photo advice for you ladies....

Please dont forget that in addition to your 'must take' photo list, give your photographer print outs of photos you want taken. I only gave mine ONE printed pic in addition to my list and when I look at my pics I get more and more depressed because of all the pics I didnt give them to take. I know I cant take back the day, or rewind, and I wouldnt if I could.. but I just wanted to give you all the heads up to do this, so you arent disappointed after you get your pics back like I am! I know I am the only one to blame for this, but I keep getting sad because there were soo many pics of DH and I that I wanted and I didnt get.

Thank you for the advice!! I have a folder with all my must takes already!!!! I will give them to Duet!!!

Thanks, that's a great idea. I think littlelostbride posted once that she put all the pics on one page for her photographer. I might do that.

Thanks for the advice. That's why we love you past brides! (Even if you've only been married for a month! )

I think I'll make up a contact sheet like littlelostbride to give to my photographers at my final meeting with them. For our initial 'interview' meetings with them, I've been bringing actual photos that I've printed out from this site. That can get way too confusing, so I am loving the contact sheet idea....

I figured out to do this after I read upsetting stories from brides on the Knot.

Yes, I have a photo editor program that came with my scanner (called PaperPort). I printed out the photos from the web, then scanned them, and then I resized them & finally, cut and pasted them onto a new 8 1/2 x 11 document.

Now I know I could have just copied the image from the web instead of scanning each printout!
