Re: photo album
Hey date twin! We're doing the montage style, I just like the way they look: more interesting, I guess.

Re: photo album
We are going with the traditional style album ... I feel like its timeless, and I think the other styles are very trendy.
But I think the majority of brides on here have been going with the newer photoshopped styles of filled with special editing and effects.
I don't think there's anything wrong with them ... it just wasn't our style.

Re: photo album
they were saying not to put too many pics on a page because it starts to look cramped and cheezy! i really like the metallic pages but im afraid its too trendy and not timeless! ugh decisions, decisions!

Re: photo album
I'm having a combination. I'm having two shooters, so my photojournalist-type photos will be in that montage, photoshopped kinda look... but my tradition images will likely be the standard one per page sort of thing. Like a hybrid.

Re: photo album
We decided to do the more traditional 1 (or 2) per page...we just liked it better, a bit more classy and more our style. FH pointed out that some of the 'magazine-style' or 'montage' albums reminded him too much of high school yearbooks, and I couldn't agree more.
Plus, since we get a cd with all our proofs, we plan to make our own album of 'extra' photos that don't end up in the 'official' album.

My DH said the same thing when we were looking at albums ....
Some of the special effects they use can definitely have that yearbook feel! I know a lot of them are really cool and classy, but sometimes they're just photoshop-gone-wrong!
