Photo and dj quotes

I recommend using the Budget calculator Here on LI Weddings, or the one provided on theknot.com. Basically you put in total amount you can spend, and amount of guests, and voila It gives you around what you should spend in each category. Prices vary big time depending on what company and what you want.

For Photography anywhere from $800-5,000 can be 'normal' I guess for middle of the road (1 photog, 10 hrs of coverage, and one album, maybe thank yous) you can predict about $2,000. If you add a second shooter and more albums that adds to it of course.

Also Djs, vary from company to company but starting rates for 1 DJ, basic set up, and Cocktail hour you can predict at least $1,200 on the low end. Once you add an MC, Lights, and other add on's about $2,300+ would be a starting point.

It is possible to find numbers much higher or much lower then these...I was just sharing around what I've found price wise.

Budget calculators are great but you should definitely spend more on things that matter more to you and less on things that don't.
