Okay--I'm going to sound so stupid but I have four photo appointments this week and I am so nervous. I feel like I'm not going to know what to talk about. I don't even really know what I should be asking.
HELP please =)

We felt the same way when we first started with our photo appts! We met with 3 different photography studios and honestly only one studio asked us (and it was our first appt too haha) what STYLE of photography we were looking for and we had no idea! But really, they do most of the talking--go over the packages, what exactly it is you're looking for (ie: how many photographers, how many hours, etc.) Don't feel nervous! :) Just know your budget and if you feel you click with the studio's work/photographer-because he/she is who you will spend most of your day with... more time is spent with them than with your fiance! haha

Re: Photo appointments
Dont worry so much about the questions. Before my appts I had this big list and I never even referred to it. Just know your budget and any must haves like how many photogs, albums, eshoot etc.

Exactly! They will do most of the talking, you should just make sure that you love their pics and that you connect with the photographer! I wish you lots of luck...sounds like your going to have a very busy week!

ASk if they do photo journalism - taking pictures of your dress, shoes, rings, etc. Also, any photographer will do this but keep a list of ny special moments that you def want pics of - like your fiance's face when he sees you walk down the aisle, your first dance, etc. You will get lots of ideas just by looking at their sample photo albums so dont worry, this is an exciting experience so have fun with it & stick to your budget!
Good Luck!

Re: Photo appointments
I have a stupid question about videographers. I see all these 'trailers', but do you get a longer video of the entire wedding day. My video is over 2 hours, but I got married 30 years ago! Thanks for being patient with me.

Dont worry...just ask if they have photography and video together and if they have packages and ask if they do can u take stuff out and would u get something else and ask to if u have the rights to your photos the MOST important question of all
Good Luck!@

Haha don't worry, I was a bit confused by that too.... but I believe they are just teasers until the whole editing process is complete. Our photo/video studio said that our edited video will be 40-50 minutes long... and I believe we get a trailer/teaser video as well!

It means you can print & use the photos however you want. No watermarks on them barring you from printing on your own!

Re: Photo appointments
Anyone willing to share photographer suggestions? I am hoping to make that my next check but don't even have an idea of where to start!
