Re: Photo Booth
I decided not to do a photo booth before I contacted any vendors directly, but based on what I found online, they're about $1900.

I would love to have a Photo Booth, but i had received a quote for $3000, so if someone knows of cheaper, especially under $2000 I would love to know where

Re: Photo Booth
Here are the prices I found online:
photoscrapbooks.com: $1895, including scrapbook
partybooths.com: for the contemporary booth, it was $1195 for 6 hours, plus $345 for the scrapbook. For high res pics, it would be an extra $395
nycphotobooth.com: $1895 for base package, plus $395 for a scrapbook

Re: Photo Booth
when I first started planning I thought I had to have one... after I started to think about it I decided that I didnt need it and that it might end up being a distraction to the wedding. I hear that people are usually standing on line allllll night, it might take away from people dncing and stuff.... but it could also be alot of fun....

That's also my thinking. Why not go with a Polaroid station and let the quest put the photo in a book and write something.
Maybe decorate a table (call it photobooth table with pictures of you and FH) and put a note, so people can ask each other to take pictures and you don't even need an attendant or to ask a friend to help out and miss the party. You could ask the bridal party to initiate and write something, so people kind of know what to expect.

Make sure that you have osmeon to man the camera-people will not pick it up and take pictures if youdont-whether its a BM or a close friend, have some one to do it.
We did this at my wedding

went to jersey wedding in december that had it, FH and I never made it in because there was always a line about 5 to 10 people deep in front of it, i saw some pict and it did look like fun but a lot of us skipped it cuz of line and same people kept going in together again and again and again....keeping the line long

You better stock up on Polaroid film and keep them in your fridge, they are going to stop making the film by the end of the year.
