I been engaged since last year and it feels like forever. Wish I would of got married this year- a 2yr engagement is just too long...it's to the point where I just don't know where to begin! Anyone else feel this way?
Right now I'm checking out the photo booths prices. It would be just around $2000 for 4 hours. That's not cheap! Before I commit, has anyone been to a party with one? Was it cheesy? Let me know! Thanks!

Re: photo booth
I haven't been to any weddings with them but I think it's kind of expensive for a few hours.....what I would do is book the things you absolutely must have for the wedding and then if you still want to splurge on the photo booth then do it....Just an option...
I booked my band and for an extra $1500 I can have an accordian player for the older italian guests and 2 flat screen LCDs but I am going to wait until i'm closer to the wedding to see if I still want to add those things since its an extra $1500 I might be able to use towards something else.
Good Luck though....the photo booth sounds like a cute idea.

Re: photo booth
we are getting a photobooth for our wedding. Actually the future in laws wanted it lol
We are going through one company for 1000 dollars...definitely keep looking! We are having it so each person gets their pictures and a copy for us to be put in a guest book that they can sign!

NYC Photobooth has a great service, I saw it at TWOTY, but I couldnt justify 2k for 4 hours including delivery

WOW! I'm jealous... I wish I could get one of these. I really wanted one but can't afford that extra couple of thousand. And I am worried about people spending all of their time in there. My sister and friends went to a party where they had one and on my friends fridge is a whole bunch of pictures from them in the booth.

Re: photo booth
I've seen 2K for a lot of places too. I really wanted to get that for my wedding but will have to wait towards the end to see if I still have the money (which I doubt with the way things are going). I would make sure that who ever you find can move the booth up and down stairs and on different types of flooring. I know it sounds weird but I am getting married at Jericho Terrace and a passed bride got married there and ordered a booth but not from NYC photobooth, and when the booth arrived the people said the booth can't go up and down stairs. I don't remember the company and what the end results were. But just keep that in mind during negotiations. Good Luck!

Re: photo booth
everyone I have talked to said it was totally worth it. I personally love it because they are so hard to find these days. I saw some posts though about those photobooths that were cheap and they ended up being scams so be careful! I got a couple of quotes from MME and NYC and MME discounted because I was going to be doing some other things with them and they own their own booth so they can negotiate more. Good Luck !
