I was thinking of having a photo booth and then giving out picture frames as favors. I just wanted to know if its a good idea or a bad idea. Im getting mixed reviews from people. Also- any recc. on which company to use??

Re: Photo booth for favors??
check out 'Ovation' a branch of Body Rock. They do 'photo favors'. You guests have their picture taken and then they put them in frames, on key chains, magnets, etc.

Re: Photo booth for favors??
I like that idea, especially since the favor would be a frame not just the photo. I'm hoping I have enough $$ left to do a photobooth and if we do, so far we're probably going with the one that FM entertainment offers. You can get the photobooth with out booking him as a DJ, it's just a little more $.
if you want more info feel free to FM me
Hope this helps

Re: Photo booth for favors??
Are you looking for a actual photo booth or a group of people set up off to the side taking pics against a backdrop and then have it placed in the frame of their choice?
If the second is what ur looking for then check out main event. I don't know their prices but i've worked with them a million times and they are all really nice and have nice frames.
Keep 1 thing in mind with either though....

Re: Photo booth for favors??
They said yes- it can go in the room where the reception is in also. This way- nobody has to actually leave the room for pics;)

I know someone who recently did this at their wedding and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

I think it's an adorable idea (people love pictures of themselves!). I know that the DJ Company In The Mix does this (they're in the same building as Golden Moments photography in Mineola).Good luck--it's such a great idea!

Re: Photo booth for favors??
We rented a photobooth from partybooths.com For $1500 we have the booth for 6 hours plus half hour to set up. A man is there to help guests. Also they can take unlimited pics and print outs. We did the guest book option as well... so they can use the pic to post in the book next to their well wishes. Also on the back of each print out there is a web site and password so guests can look up the pics online. And I get a CD rom of the pics too. You could book it for less time and if you don't do the guest book option that will save you money. We did everything they offered.
I booked FM for my DJ company too. IF you have them as your dj it was $1200 if not then it's $1500. That's for 2 print outs plus the guest book... I think it's 3 hours.
Body Rock was $1500 and offered the same thing FM did.
we went with Partybooths because they gave the most for your money.
I also looked into NYCPhotobooth (which is more or less the same as FM and Body Rock) and Coney Island Photobooths.. they wanted DOUBLE that amount for the same stuff FM and Body Rock wanted.
